Clergy Urges Nollywood Stars To Get Life Assurance Policies.
President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Dr Israel Akanji has urged Nollywood stars to introduce life assurance policy to the entertainment industry.
His charge came following the unfortunate death of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope and five others in a boat mishap while going to a movie location.
Akanji commiserated with the Nollywood family, stressing that, the policy is needed owing to the risks involved in the industry, and call on the relevant bodies to introduce Life Assurance policies for the members and introduce them to the National Health Insurance Scheme in view of the risks of their vocation.
