Gov. Eno To Prepare Women For Future Opportunities.
Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has assured women of his determination to prepare them for future opportunities.
Eno made the assurance in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh in commemoration of the International Women’s Day celebration on Friday.
The governor said he would continue to run a gender-inclusive government as currently reflected in the State Executive Council, the Transition committees, membership of Boards and other Ministerial Departments, among others.
He also lauded the strides Akwa Ibom women have made in accelerating the development of the state.
He also added that the women of Akwa Ibom State, have done great things- from managing homes, making huge strides in both private and public sectors and being in the vanguard of pushing morality in the society.
