Suspected Gunmen Abduct RCCG Pastor, Other Passengers.
Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Olugbenga Olawore, and other passengers of a 14-seater bus have been kidnapped in Oyo State.
The cleric and other passengers, were abducted on Friday night at the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa Road, while, the cleric was returning from Ipapo town, where he went to put the final touches on the burial arrangements for his mother.
Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, who confirmed the abduction on Saturday said, some of them had been rescued, adding that, police operatives, in collaboration with other security agencies and local hunters, were in the forest and surrounding areas of the incident to rescue the remaining victims and arrest the suspects.
