Gov. Oborevwori Holds Meeting With Tinubu.

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has met with President Bola Tinubu over the killing of over a dozen military personnel in Okuoma community in the state.

This is coming after 17 military personnel comprising a lieutenant colonel, two majors, one captain, and 12 soldiers were killed while on a “peacekeeping mission” in Okuoma community and the government has condemned the incident while promising that, perpetrators would face the wrath of the law.

The governor said, that the situation is under control, and there will be no further attacks.

The governor declined to confirm the report of reprisal attacks allegedly carried out by the military and the number of casualties, saying that there are certain things he cannot say in the public, adding that, the security heads in Bomadi has been unable to meet with the community involved because the place of the incident is completely deserted.
