Operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command have arrested 35 suspected phone
snatchers after successfully raiding some black spots in the state capital.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, who confirmed the
development in a statement said, the command’s Anti-Vice Section conducted a series
of targeted raids in response to the rising crime wave in the state, particularly phone
snatching.
According to him, the Commissioner of Police assured the public that, those found
culpable would be profiled and charged in court, and also stressed the command’s
commitment to clamping down on criminal activities within the state.
